Skin.
The name speaks for itself. The rider is
all
skin and bones (and some muscle, we
guess). His current job is to be a all
skin and bones (and some muscle, we
guess). His current job is to be a
guide of young and
impressionable minds or also known as a teacher. But he is quite certain
that if that didn't work out that he would be a bike courier or
something that's bike related and probably up the establishment's you know
what. guide of young and
impressionable minds or also known as a teacher. But he is quite certain
that if that didn't work out that he would be a bike courier or
something that's bike related and probably up the establishment's you know
what. (his words not ours)
Skin
has been riding since he’s been walking
(or so he would like to think)
so he had too many bikes to list. His current survivors are an alu Giant
and Cro-Moly Mongoose. Skin claims that he settled on these cause they're
cheap and do the job but for a time he was trying every material and bike
design, so maybe he just got tired. When asked who influenced him to ride
the most, he said ‘anyone that commutes and believes in a better form of
transport than tin cans on four wheels.’
(Check
out this if you don't believe him)
As
far as his dream bikes are concerned, Skin has this piece of wisdom, ‘If
you could dream about a different girl every night, why then should you
restrict your dreams to one bike. sort of spoils the whole concept of
dreaming eh?’ Phew, deep.
Skin
is a firm believer in the art of spin. As such he will force this concept
on anyone he rides with. So watch out.
His
best
cycling moment was a great
bike ride from Sydney to Melbourne. And his worse moments are usually
associated with getting sick and not riding. But for some reason, he seems
to encounter this a lot more then the average person. Coincidence? Your
guess is as good as ours.
His
best bike related purchase is
a helmet. And his worst
bike related purchase was
a
car for the roof racks for the bike. That’s right car FOR bike. This guy
has his priorities right. After all that, there is nothing left for a best
non-bike related purchase. But he has had some wasted cash that went to
cinema tickets to bad movies.
