We struggled for a while to find Yap a name but one Sunday on BTT, he started hurrying all of us on he trail so we labeled him, Giddyap. When not riding he works as a Sales Manager. He hasn’t really given much thought to what he would be doing otherwise. He started riding in 1985 but stopped in 1996. In 2001 he made a resolution to ride more and he been keeping to it ever since. He owned his fair share of bikes in that time from a Trek and an Eddy Merckx. His current bikes are a Kona King Kikapu, Giant ATX890, and a  Merlin Extralight. The person that influenced him to ride the most is Colin, from Bike Haus.

His dream road bike is a Colnago C40. As far a dream mountain bike goes, he’s still thinking of one.

The best advice he's received on riding is to just ride.

His best cycling moment came when he finished his first mountain race in Jan 02.His worst cycling moment was coming in last in that same race

His best bike related purchase is his Kona King Kikapu. His worst bike related purchase is his Maxiss Flyweight tire.

His best non-bike related purchase is his Mercedes A-class.

His worst non-bike related purchase also involves an auto and it was losing money on a Opel omega
