Energizer
got his name cos he never seems to give up. He’ll be lagging behind on a
ride one moment and the next he’ll be sprinting away from the group. He
currently works as teacher but would be an engineer if he ever changed
jobs.
He’s
been riding since 1995 but only seriously in the last 2-3 years, He’s
owned 3 bikes in that time. He is currently on
a Pinarello Prince. This happens to be his dream bikes although he
would need if to have the “full works” in order for it to really meet
his dreams. He doesn’t have a dream mountain bike as trail riding
doesn’t fit into his dreams. The person that most influenced him to ride
is a friend of his.
Best
advice received is to spin. And this is the same advice he would pass on
to anyone who will listen.
His
best cycling moment came when he finished his 1200+km Riding for Life
event. His worst moment? Riding along and
breaking up his C40. His best bike purchase is the Pinarello prince
with a Campagnolo Record/Chorus mix. His worst bike purchase was the chain
rings that he bought for this mountain bike two weeks before getting his
road bike. His best non-bike purchase is “a pocket of air in the sky.”
